The games and sports had an important place in the life of ours just from the early stage of it, in the beginning at the time of childhood we spend our most of the time in playing only and even after being a juvenile we spend the leisure time of ours in playing but afterwards when we became a youth we got ourselves far away from those games, in which we spend the most of our time when we are young.
The reason behind being far away from the favorite games and sports of ours is that when we become a youth we become engaged in the completion of our studies and after completing the studies of our own we starts thinking about making the career of our own in the respective field in which we want as the future of ours is totally dependent over it and therefore we try our level best to get a fruitful job for ourselves as it would help us in living a prosperous life along with having all comforts and possessions.
And as because of being indulged in the to-do filled life of ours we does not had time for the favorite game of ours, but most of the people accomplish their desire by doing betting in the games, racing is the favorite game of most of the people because of the huge betting done in it and in the Grand National betting is done at its utmost level because it is the most popular horse racing event which is popular among the people all over the world.
The craze which the people had for the Grand National is really spectacular and along with the common peoples the zest which the bookies had for being a part of the Grand National betting is also tremendous as well because the money which they get only from this is too much higher than their other sources of betting.
It was only a few weeks ago that I was preparing to write a post that explained how the Championship had become almost separated into “mini-leagues” – with a massive gulf between the sides at the bottom of the division and those competing for top honours at the top. At that time there only appeared to be a few teams battling to save their status yet several weeks on, there are countless teams involved in the relegation dogfight and it really could go either way.
Furthermore, some of the said teams aren’t your standard relegation battlers – some have been seasoned Premier League clubs that have just lost their way. It should be pointed out that the cost of dropping out of the Championship is astronomical, with clubs losing millions of pounds in lost TV revenue. Bearing this in mind, the following clubs will be doing everything in their power to avoid the drop and preserve their divisional status.
Peterborough – 24th
At the foot of the table, six points adrift of safety, is Peterborough. Posh are widely regarded as the smallest club in the division and even though their situation may look daunting at the moment, they’ve proved throughout the season that they can pull off big results.
However, with Darren Ferguson’s men already six points away from 21st and also set to sell star man George Boyd, this is a team I really fear for. They will certainly battle until the end, but I would be seriously tempted to take advantage of betting offers and back the Posh for a return to League One.
Bristol City – 23rd
Several weeks ago most people completely wrote Bristol City off, with the Robins on a crash course to League One. However, the appointment of Sean O’Driscoll has revitalized everyone at Ashton Gate and as I write this, City have just recorded two consecutive home victories. Admittedly, this still leaves them four points adrift of safety, but their form suggests that they could turn things around.
In my eyes, it is still going to be difficult. O’Driscoll may have masterminded some decent results, but his record at this level isn’t actually that brilliant and I just wonder how long this form will last.
Barnsley – 22nd
Barnsley are another side who have come into some good form over recent times, with the appointment of David Flitcroft seemingly spurring the Tykes into action. They’re unbeaten in their last five in all competitions although again, the question lingers on whether or not Flitcroft has what it takes to mastermind continuous improvement. They find themselves in the same position as Bristol City points wise and at the current time, it’s just impossible to say whether or not the Tykes will be playing Championship football next term.
Ipswich – 21st
Considering the multitude of talent that Ipswich have available, it is simply incredible to see them in this situation. They are yet another team that has replaced their manager this season, with Mick McCarthy replacing the disappointing Paul Jewell. The Tractor Boys sit four points above the drop zone and even though they are in something of a rut at the moment, I have every confidence that McCarthy will be able to build on his sterling reputation at this level and save the Portman Road outfit.
Sheffield Wednesday – 20th
Some would suggest that Dave Jones was very lucky to keep his job earlier in the season, with Wednesday really struggling to even record a point. However, over the last few weeks they have recorded countless promising results and this means that they sit above Ipswich by goal difference. Jones spent a lot of money during the summer rebuilding his squad and when this is combined with the recent January investment, I have a sneaky feeling that Wednesday will just about be safe from the drop.
Huddersfield – 19th
This is yet another club that has replaced their manager over recent times, with Simon Grayson paying the price for some terrible form which saw the Terriers fail to win in fourteen games. Such a run was surprising to say the least, with the West Yorkshire team being situated close to the playoffs prior to it.
Much of their future will depend on who they manage to bring in to replace Grayson, with a new manager at least having a five point gap from the drop zone. However, with the transfer window almost over and the club on such a dour run of form, this is one team who will have to be monitored closely.
Wolves – 18th
Having only just been relegated from the top flight, the last thing Wolves supporters will have been expecting will have been a fight against the drop. They are another side who have changed their manager, after Stale Solbakken was replaced by Dean Saunders just a few weeks ago. With Saunders reputation at this level being debatable, I’m of the belief that Wolves could be in big trouble. Their squad is quite poor on paper and even though five points keep them above the bottom three for now, whether or not they will be able to sustain that margin is questionable.
